Abeka (Spelling/Reading/Phonics)

  • Phonics Lesson 151
  • Then, Lesson 152 in Spelling, Reading, and Phonics 
    • There are corresponding workbook pages for the Spelling book, Letters & Sounds (for those utilizing Abeka phonics), Language book, and the Readers.

Writing



  • Greta had her babies yesterday!  Write a story about a farm in the spring!

Handwriting

  • Lesson 25 Day 1
     

Grammar

  • Study your grammar cards.
  • Learn about the next type of sentence: commands, using Lesson 94.  Add the definition to your grammar cards.
  • Work on the poem, "Mr. Nobody".  Let's try to record it next week!
  • If you did not add the definitions for "sentence", and "statement" to your grammar cards last week, please do so.

 

 

History

  • By Wednesday:
    •  Read Chapter 38: The End of the Ancient Jewish Nation
       
      Discuss the following:
      • What Persian king let the Jews go back to their home?
      • Who ruled over the Jews then?
      • Why did the Jews attack the Romans?
      • What city did the Romans destroy?
      • What did the Romans do to the Temple?
      • What happened to the Jewish people then?
        

Math

  • Textbook pages 80-81
  • Workbook pages 133-136


Spanish

  • Look back through and study terms in workbook, through page 32, for next week.
