We learned about St. Valentine in class yesterday. While he was in prison, he was comforted by all of the many letters that he received from people who loved him.
Your writing assignment is to write a letter to someone who is over seas, fighting for our country in our military. You do not know this person, but you can write a letter explaining your feelings about him or her being there, ask questions, and give him or her your gratitude!

We have not needed videos this week. However, when videos are posted, they are meant to be a "lecture" to watch before completing the assignment. Watching the video after completing the assignment will prevent you from utilizing the methods explained in the lecture. If you do not like the videos, you will need to purchase the Singapore Math Standards Edition 1B Home Instructor's Guide and teach the lesson along with the assignments in order to get a complete 1st grade math program.
