  • Study the poem on p. 65 of your Spelling & Poetry Book

Writing

  • Image you are a leaf on a tree.... and fall is here!  Write about your journey as a leaf, and how you (as a leaf) feel about the fall.


Handwriting

  • Lesson 2 Day 1 (p. 43)

          • Come up with your own Pictograms...they can be random or you can put some together to create a sentence or story. Be ready to show and explain them to your classmates and teacher.

          Tuesday


          Abeka (Spelling/Reading/Phonics)

          • Lesson 40 in Curriculum Guide
            • Instruction on Phonics/Reading/Spelling for the lesson, with workbook pages listed in Curriculum Guide.   
            • In class tomorrow, we will review spelling list #5. This is the list that you began at home on Thursday of last week, so we will be playing a review game with it in prep for their at home assessment.

           

          Handwriting

          • Choose a border sheet from the back of your handwriting book.  Either tear it out or make a copy of it.  Take the Bible verse from Lesson 2, Day 4, and copy it very carefully onto the border sheet.  Color it and bring it to class tomorrow!  This is like your weekly handwriting quiz, so do your very best!

           

          Writing

          • Be sure to finish your writing.  Do your best! We will show it off in class!

          History

          • Students...tell your parents what you know about Abraham Lincoln, John Wilkes Booth and Dr Mudd.
          • Also...ask your parents to talk to you about Barack Obama and Mitt Romney. You want to be prepared to vote in the election!

           

          Math

          • Workbook page 61-66

           

          Spanish

          • Listen to the months of the year song.  Sing it!
          • Be sure you know the material on pages 4-13.

             

           

          Science

          •  Read chapter 8!
