Writing

  •  In history, we learned about Nero, who was a very horrible Roman emperor.  In our lesson, we learned of his very unfair treatment of Christians.  
  • Think about a time that someone happened (either to you, or to someone else you know) that was unfair.  Write about it!

  • Study your grammar cards.
  • Review the new type of sentence, questions, from lesson 95.  Add the definition to your grammar cards.

  • Review chapter 39, section 1 (Nero, the Evil Emperor) with your parents.

Science

  •  We have been learning about animal habitats and needs.  Yesterday, we compared the basic needs of wild animals, pets, and humans.  We focused on "shelter", and will be discussing our homes, comparing them with the homes of different animals.  For the week, draw a floor plan of your house, and label it with the different rooms.
